About Matt Yoder Concrete
Matthew Yoder, Founder
Matthew Yoder’s resolute intent is to provide consistently good, honest work for his customers. The company’s motto, “Honesty and Integrity,” holds values he stands by above all else. To Matt, the top priorities are standing behind his work and ensuring customers are satisfied with each job. This means fulfilling every request, fixing every problem that may arise, and following through no matter what. He strives for perfection, devoting his careful attention and particularity to every fine detail.
Matt’s concrete experience began with Mast Construction in 1993. He started his own company in 2002一one year after being hired with Southern Manatee Fire Rescue. Since then, he’s remained with both jobs, cultivating the company and working his way up to be a first-class firefighter.
Growing up in Berne, Indiana, Matt was raised with Amish roots; his parents left the Amish church before he was born. A natural, strong work ethic was instilled in him by his father, William, who worked eight hours in a factory each day only to come home and plow fields for his neighbors. He had six children to provide for一Matt being the youngest.
Above all, Matt’s heart is with his family. Matt moved to Florida at eighteen, where he met his wife, married her in 1996, and started his new life. He ended up with a big family of his own, having three children in addition to his oldest sons, Gabe and Jadon, who’d eventually join the business. He enjoys boating, kayaking, and hiking, as well as reading in his downtime at the fire station.
Faith is a centerpiece in Matt’s life. He attends a local church that he’s very involved in. His relationship with God has made him a giving man, always helping those in need. In his words, you can’t outgive God一and yet, he’s ever striving to bless as many people as he can.

Jadon Yoder
Jadon Yoder is personable, approachable, and loves connecting with people on an individual level. He desires to make customers as comfortable as possible and reassure them he genuinely cares about their needs. The goal is to help them find exactly what they’re looking for. Even if Matt Yoder Concrete isn’t best suited for a requested job, he will point you in the right direction to a company that can help. He specializes in building relationships with not only customers but also all those associated with the company: subcontractors, concrete truck drivers, and others. It’s important to him to build their reputation through word of mouth.
Throughout high school, Jadon worked for Matt during the summer. He officially started full-time in 2019. Before that, he managed construction cleanup for Taylor Morrison and worked there for two years. As the future successor of the company, he invests all of his working time into his position as Vice President and Project Manager. It is his top priority.
Jadon has been married since 2020 and has two sons. He loves spending time with his family, biking, bird-watching, and smoking cigars. He was born and raised in the Sarasota-Bradenton area with his four siblings and brought up with strong Christian values. His faith and relationship with God are why he has a strong desire to integrate honesty and integrity into his work and make a difference in people’s lives in that small way.

Gabriel Yoder
Gabriel Yoder is determined to fulfill all customers’ needs and ease their worries by always doing the best work he can, ensuring they’re happy with the final result. He loves the satisfaction of creating uniform, quality driveways. No matter the circumstances, whether it be weather or other conditions standing in his way, the job isn’t done until the client is happy. Whatever problems arise, he will fix them to the best of his ability.
Like his father, Gabe is driven and hard-working, learning from Matt’s example. He, too, is a firefighter and works for East Manatee Fire Rescue. He has his Associate’s in Arts Degree from State College of Florida and attended Manatee Technical College for firefighting school. He is primarily the foreman of demolition but rotates different jobs with other workers, runs calls at the fire station when he’s on duty, and still finds time for his family.
Gabe has been married since 2022, and they have a daughter and a son. He enjoys spending time with them, and he shares a love for the water with his dad, occasionally fishing and kayaking. He was brought up with the same Christian values as his brother, Jadon, and his faith is important to him.
